Rev. Harvey Paul Davis was born in 1926 and grew up in West Philadelphia - just like some of the students in KenCrest's Early Learning Centers. He dedicated his life to helping others and placed an emphasis on gratitude and education, choosing to see the positive in every situation. He believed in intentional choices to stay grateful, even when faced with life's hardships.
For many years, Pastor Harvey served his community as a member of the KenCrest family. During this time, he came to know families living in Philadelphia neighborhoods with limited resources who were unable to celebrate the holiday season. Never one to walk away from a challenge, Pastor Harvey created the Family Fund in 1999, rallying friends, volunteers, and donors to come together and provide joy for their communities.
Pastor Harvey passed away this year at 96, leaving behind a legacy of service to others. His fierce dedication that led to the creation of the Family Fund now lives on through all of our community members who continue his work.
For 24 years, people like you have helped bring a smile to the face of those. Your support ensures we continue the tradition of supporting individuals and families during the holiday season. We are grateful for your commitment to helping those in need and spreading some extra joy during the holidays.
Gift deliveries will be accepted between November 27th and December 6th at the KenCrest corporate offices (960A Harvest Drive Suite 100, Blue Bell, PA 19422) between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. If you cannot make it between those times, please contact MT Pena to coordinate another time to drop off your gifts.
